Gallery Activities during this Exhibition:

• Cheeky Dog Art Day - Sunday 9th August: 11 - 1pm
  Bring your pet and make art! Paw prints, pet portraits with treats to be won for your favourite pooch. There is a tour of the exhibition for children and they can collect their "Kids Adventure Passport" from the gallery on the day.
• Book Illustration - Saturday 22nd August and Wednesday 26th August:
  10 - 2pm
  Children's book illustrator, Penny Walton hosts a talk and workshop on this beautiful illustrative art form. All materials are provided, but do bring an apron. Bookings are recommended to secure your place at this unique workshop. Book for either class. $35 members/$40 non-members.
• Wearable art
  Discover the design and practical process of screen printing your own T shirt inspired by our Cheeky Dog and Reg Mombassa exhibitions. From learning about placement prints, design, 'meshing up' a screen, cutting stencils and finally to printing a design, students hand print their unique wearable art! This workshop offers a practical insight into a process that is nowadays industrialised, whil prividin valuabel technical skills which adapt to art on many surfaces including paper, canvas and fabrtc. Bring a white T shirt or plain fabric. All other materials are provided. Bookings are essential to secure your place.
