Awabakal to Wonarua

12th September - 31st October 2010 

An exhibition of indigenous artworks that explore the culture, lives and stories of the original Hunter Valley inhabitants, informed by oral history, archaeological research and anecdotal evidence. The exhibition will be supported by a community forum, story telling and outreach programs.

This exhibition follows on from the very successful exhibition story.art.history.place, and will include works by Les Elvin, Leslie Salem and other artists.
