Love From Beijing

Kristin is a Kurri girl who has created a very humorous and poignant series of photographs entitled 'Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places' which we can all relate to, because let's face it who hasn't done that at some time!! Kristin's photographic journey is a travel journal of Cessnock and the lower Hunter taking in places familiar to most of us.

Johanna Trainor's Beijing series takes us to the other side of Asia. Johanna recently completed an artist's residency in Beijing hoping to explore here interest in landscape. She found the language of landscape here very different to her Australian sense of Landscape as an open space. Lots to think about and a real insight into contemporary Chinese life.
